Yuri Tarnowecky – Kingston Estate Planning Attorney

Yuri received his Bachelor of Arts from Guelph University, attended Queen’s University Law School and was called to the Bar in 1975. He has been practicing law in Kingston for over 45 years. His expertise includes residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates. Since moving to Kingston in 1969, Yuri has been an active member of the Kingston Community:

– National Vice-President, Ukrainian Canadian Student’s Union
– President of Kingston Minor Hockey Association
– Founding Executive Member of Greater Kingston Hockey
– Served 3 terms as Alderman, City of Kingston
– Served as Deputy Mayor and Chairman of the Police Commission
– Member, Kinsmen African Medical Relief Team in Ethiopia
– Co-Chairman, Lake Ontario Tall ships Rendezvous 1984

Currently, President of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Parish and an active member of the Canadian Bandurist Capella, Toronto, Ontario.
