George Shea has been in the firm since 1988 and a partner since 1992. Mr. Shea is a graduate of Michigan State University (Cum Laude, 1974) and Wayne State University Law School (Cum Laude, 1988). Before receiving his law degree, he worked at Williams International, Inc., where he was a Contract Manager, responsible for negotiating and implementing multi-million dollar contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and with other aerospace companies.
Mr. Shea is also deeply involved in his community. He has served as Chairman of the Plymouth Canton Educational Excellence Foundation and on the Madonna University Hospice Education Advisory Board. He was also a founding director of Christmas in Action of Wayne County, a non-profit organization that performs home repairs for low-income elderly and disabled homeowners.
