Birute Luksenaite – Toronto Estate Planning Attorney

My name is Birute Luksenaite. I am the founder of Portfolio Estate Law firm.

I earned my Law Degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to law school, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree at the University of Toronto.

I came to Canada as a young girl from Lithuania. I grew up in the Kingsway (Toronto, Canada) and attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts high school, specializing in visual art. Visual art remains a special interest of mine.

I articled at the Tax Court of Canada where I helped judges make decisions regarding individuals’, companies’ and trusts’ income tax appeals. I later continued working in corporate and private client tax law at a national Canadian law firm on Bay Street and at a large global accounting firm in Toronto and in New York. I also worked for a large Canadian bank assisting high-net worth clients with estate and tax planning and for a Top-10 Canadian estate law boutique on Bay Street in Toronto.

I started Portfolio Estate Law because I wanted to give back to the Kingsway community and to provide each and every client with a personalized service.
