Andrew North – Clarkston Estate Planning Attorney

​Mr. North has been continuously licensed to practice law since 2008.  He is also a state certified Mediator. He practices primarily in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning and Real Property law.

Mr. North previously served as a Staff Attorney for the non-profit Neighborhood Legal Services Michigan where he handled estate planning, landlord tenant and elder abuse cases. While there he served as Supervising Attorney for the Free Legal Aid Clinic at Wayne State University. He also conducted legal education seminars for a variety of non-profit and community organizations.

Mr. North left the non-profit sector to begin private practice in his hometown of Clarkston in 2013 and joined Karlstrom Cooney in 2020.

Mr. North resides in Clarkston with his wife and three children.

Mr. North earned his Juris Doctor at University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law in 2008. He is also a Graduate of James Madison College, Michigan State University in 2004 earning a B.A. in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy.
