Philip Takacs – Lafayette Estate Planning Attorney

Philip was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida and graduated with a B.A. in history with highest honors.  He then attended a top-25 law school, the University of Florida College of Law, and graduated with his J.D. with honors. After law school, Philip took and passed the New York, New Jersey, and Florida bar examinations on his first sittings. He has since been an actively practicing attorney at prestigious law firms in the North Country, New York City, and New Jersey legal markets.

Philip believes that every person and company is entitled to affordable, competent legal representation. He has represented both high and low net-worth individuals, multi-million and billion dollar companies, and some of the largest public entities in the region. His  clients have been national telecommunications companies, insurance companies, CEO’s, small businesses, municipalities, school boards, transit authorities and utilities.

In his free time, Philip enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his friends, family and pets. He is an avid skier and traveller. Philip also regularly volunteers his time as a youth sports coach for football, lacrosse and wrestling.

He represents clients throughout New York and New Jersey in a variety of legal matters.
